Tradescantia spathacea yellow variegata. This beautiful plant often known as Moses in the cradle due to the odd flower that resembles a basket with flowers. The plant has gone under other names as well as Rheo spathacea. Tradescantia spathacea has dark green wide leaves around 1 foot long and 2 inches wide in a rosette shape which looks similar to a bromeliad. This form is extremely rare and slow. Each leaf is stripped with yellow stripes running down the leaves. We rarely have many to offer though the green form is fairly common and easy the variegated form is much more sought after.
