The popcorn plant also known as Cassia or Senna didymobotrya. This plant is native to Africa and produces large spikes of yellow candle like flowers. The leaves grow out 2 to 4 feet and have a fern like look. Mature plants grow 6 to 8 feet tall or more. The most interesting part of the plant is the smell. The new leaves smell just like popcorn. I find this to be a great plant for looks and once people get a smell it really gets a lot of attention in the garden.
