Canna Patens a friend send me a plant of this several years ago and it has been a delight to grow. This delicate canna grows 3 to 4 feet tall and produces very small delicate orchid to heliconia like flowers. Maybe not as over the top looking as some of the other cannas this one has its own unique look which isstill quite impressive. Sometimes considered a species and sometimes considered a different clone of Canna indica. Canna patens is great in aontainer or in mass plantings for someone looking for a more interesting subtle canna this is the one.
