Alocasia Cuprea is by far one of the most amazing foliage plants on the planet. Alocasia Cuprea is rare in nature and is native to Borneo. Found growing in limestone out crops. Plants grow around 1 to 2 feet tall and produce a rounded oval shaped leaf with raised mid-ribs. The most striking feature is the leaf surface. The leaves look like metal and often have a copper to maroon reflective look. By far the most alien looking foliage plant I can think of. Alocasia Cuprea does best in tropical zones and makes for an exellent house plant. I recommend allowing the plants to dry out between watering. Also not to the the tempature go below 55f.
