Eucomis Freckles PP22769 is a new hybrid released by Terra Nova Nurseries. I have grown a few plants for the last two years in our gardens. They are great in clusters or used on the edges of garden beds. Eucomis Freckles grows around 1 foot tall and 1 foot wide with dark green leaves and maroon speckles on every leaf. Plants do best here in full sun with good drainage and regular watering. In winter in Kentucky zone 6 I mulch mine up around 4 to 6 inches of chopped up leaves for insulation. Comepletely hardy in zone 7-9.  A great additon for hardy tropical plants.
